The simplest carry-on options are a 100ml travel bottle filled with your preferred body wash, or a solid shower bar, which is not classified as a liquid and can travel in any size. Many hotels provide body wash, so it is also worth checking whether your accommodation supplies toiletries before packing. For trips longer than a few days, pack a full-size bottle in checked baggage.
All liquids, including body wash, must be placed in a single clear resealable bag (1 litre / quart-sized) for security screening. Having a compliant 100ml bottle loose in your carry-on bag is not sufficient — if it is not in the liquids bag, screeners may ask you to repack at the checkpoint, causing delays. Place your body wash and all other liquid toiletries in the clear bag before you arrive at security.
